Once upon a time a Glaswegian band called Algernon Doll recorded records and played shows from 2010 to 2015. From it ashes WOMPS was born and as the dead band, Ewan Grant (guitars/vocals) and Owen Wicksted (drums) are playing together in a more powerful direction, as reflects 'Live A Little Less', their first official single after it publication as acoustic version, together with 'Downstairs' and 'Ritalin', their other two songs published in their bandcamp account. This single will be published as a double A-side 7", together with 'Dreams On Demand' in Damnably Records on September 18 and produced by Steve Albini.
'Live A Little Less' sounds like a mix between Cloud Nothings and Speedy Ortiz, but with the first band gripping the microphone in a lo-fi and positive grunge way, leaving a little respite for FIDLAR and the first Yuck when the song reduces the piston speed.
